You captured the best image of his presidential busts on display in the staircase that I’ve seen yet. That was a tricky angle! I’m also eager to hear the story of the bearskin. That was one of my favorite features in that room. Thanks for sharing with us Teresa!

Such a beautiful place. Such a wonderful person we found in Mr. P. Allen Smith. His dedication to preserving the “old hand arts” was an inspiration to us all. My grandmother taught me so much about the old ways and to see them alive and well at Moss Mountian Farm was almost like having a visit with her again. thanks for a beautiful post.
